The mural uses bold lettering to spell out “De Beque,” with each letter featuring detailed illustrations of the area’s iconic features and activities. The existing tan wall color was incorporated into the design as a base, layered with a complementary color palette to create depth and vibrancy. This mural not only enhances the Community Center’s exterior but also creates a sense of pride and place, welcoming residents and visitors while telling the story of Western Colorado’s rugged charm and outdoor lifestyle.
